Cassidy Thomson practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, with a special interest in estate litigation matters. Cassidy graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2011. She completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Victoria in 2015. Throughout law school, Cassidy received numerous awards for academic achievement and graduated at the top of her class. Notably, Cassidy received the William R. McIntyre Gold Medal, which is awarded by the faculty to the member of the graduating class who demonstrates the highest qualities of academic achievement, student leadership and community service.
Cassidy completed her articles with a top-tier litigation firm in Vancouver and was called to the bar in May 2016. She is excited to establish her career in the Okanagan, and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association civil litigation, elder law, sexual orientation and gender diversity conference, and the young lawyer sections. While not working, Cassidy enjoys yoga, hiking, theatre and crocheting.
