David Rush, QC

David practiced complex commercial and matrimonial litigation for over 35 years before restricting his practice to acting as a mediator. During his practice, David gained significant experience in a broad range of matters including shareholder and partnership disputes, real estate transactions, contested estates and trusts, construction and other matters. Combining that experience with extensive training and experience in the mediation process and a “hands on” approach, David is an effective and fully engaged mediator.

Prior to restricting his practice to acting as a mediator David had appeared before all levels of courts in British Columbia as well as the Federal Court and various regulatory tribunals. Over the years David has been extensively involved in various boards and advisory committees, including the City of Kelowna Advisory Planning Commission, President of the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce, amongst many others. He also servedjef an appointment as Public Representative on the Board of Directors of the British Columbia College of Licensed Practical Nurses, then the regulator of Licensed Practical Nurses in British Columbia.

David is available to mediate disputes throughout British Columbia.
