Jessica is a partner with Rush Ihas Hardwick LLP. She practices exclusively in family law, which includes the entire spectrum of legal matters bearing down on families in British Columbia: from separation, divorce, and property division to spousal and child support, guardianship, residency, and parenting time.

Jessica’s approach is no-nonsense, pragmatic, and client-centred. She works with the end in mind, whether by negotiated or mediated settlement and in the courtroom. She is among the firm’s longest-standing lawyers, a loyal and diligent practitioner whose wealth of experience makes her a versatile advocate. She is experienced in both collaborative and adversarial approaches and deploys all manner of tools to suit her clients’ needs.

Jessica has represented clients at all levels of court in British Columbia. She routinely appears before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, from routine interim matters to trial work. She is also experienced in drafting complex cohabitation, marriage, and separation agreements.

Jessica has also trained extensively in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration, and parenting co-ordination. She also has specialized training in family violence.
