Lucas is an associate with Rush Ihas Hardwick LLP who maintains a family law practice. As a fifth-generation resident of Kelowna, Lucas brings a deep connection to the community and a personal commitment to helping local families navigate some of life’s most challenging moments.
Lucas works with clients across the full spectrum of family law matters, providing strategic and compassionate counsel tailored to each client’s circumstances. His approach is calm and client centered. He is dedicated to achieving practical resolutions that serve his clients’ best interests, whether through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, or litigation.
Lucas has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia. His passion for family law drives his commitment to providing thoughtful and effective advocacy for his clients at every stage of the process.
Prior to joining the firm, Lucas obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Alberta in 2022. He was called to the British Columbia bar in 2026. Lucas gained valuable client-facing experience during law school through his volunteer work with the University of Alberta’s Student Legal Services.
