Erin Masters is an associate with Rush Ihas Hardwick who maintains a broad civil litigation practice with a particular interest in commercial disputes and complex tort litigation. She approaches challenging disputes with careful preparation, attention to detail, and sound judgement, and is committed to providing clear and effective advocacy for her clients.
As an advocate, Erin is hardworking, detail-oriented, and focused on practical solutions. She has appeared before the British Columbia Supreme Court and Provincial Court and has experience working on complex litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Erin obtained her Juris Doctor from Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2025 and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2026. During law school, she completed practical advocacy courses and developed a particular interest in litigation and advocacy.
Before joining Rush Ihas Hardwick LLP, Erin summered and articled with Dolden Wallace Folick LLP, where she practiced primarily in insurance defence. Her experience included complex tort, commercial, property damage, personal injury, professional liability and Strata matters, providing her with a strong foundation in civil litigation and administrative law.
Erin also maintains an academic interest in public and constitutional law. Her writing has been published twice in the Constitutional Forum and the Journal of Law Student Scholarship.
