Ann earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture in China and a master’s degree in project management in Australia. Over 20 years working in the building industry, Ann gained experience across all phases of construction projects, from land acquisition, planning, permitting, design, project management, contract and budget management, to dispute resolution.

Upon moving to Canada in 2012, Ann continued her career as a development manager for real estate firms in the Vancouver area. Later, she joined a leading general contractor as a pre-construction project manager where she worked closely with clients, consultants, estimators, and the construction team in moving projects toward execution.

In 2021, Ann decided to tackle law school and obtained her juris doctor degree from Thompson Rivers University in 2024. Ann interned and articled at a prominent construction litigation boutique firm in the Vancouver area before joining Rush Ihas Hardwick in Kelowna.

Ann brings to the firm broad experience in the building industry, a highly pragmatic approach, and a sharp understanding of commercial realities. Although she is new to legal practice, her foundational knowledge as a construction professional allows her to drive unique value for the firm’s clients.
