Ken is a respected litigator in British Columbia and the co-founder of Rush Ihas Hardwick LLP. He maintains a commercial litigation practice with a specialized experience in insolvency and foreclosure matters. In this context, he routinely acts for shareholders and corporations in business disputes, trustees in bankruptcy, and both creditors and debtors in bankruptcy and realization proceedings.
As an advocate, Ken is equal parts tenacious and pragmatic. His approach is steadfastly results-oriented. He has significant experience as counsel in the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Court of Appeal, as well as the Federal and Tax Courts of Canada. His breadth of experience ranges from complex commercial disputes, torts, tax, estate, and employment law.
Ken’s influence and mentorship has been a cornerstone of the firm. In his current role as Associate Counsel, Ken maintains his commitment to mentorship and shaping the lawyers of Rush Ihas Hardwick LLP in the original vision of the firm.
Prior to establishing Rush Ihas Hardwick LLP, Ken served as a law clerk to five judges of the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
