Julia Chalkley

Julia practices exclusively in the area of family law.

Julia earned her Bachelor of Laws degree with distinction, from the University of Ottawa. During law school, Julia was an active member of the Women’s Legal Mentorship Program, and completed various internships in environmental and disability law. She also holds a Psychology Specialist degree with distinction, from the University of Toronto.

 Julia was called to the Bar in 2018 and has appeared as counsel in both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia. She is active in the Kelowna Bar Association, currently holding the role of President.

 Originally from Toronto, Julia packed up her life there to come enjoy the Okanagan lifestyle, and can usually be found outside road biking, hiking, and otherwise soaking up all the beautiful sights and adventures that the Okanagan has to offer.
