Lauren is an associate with Rush Ihas Hardwick LLP who maintains a general civil litigation practice. Within this practice, she has a particular interest in corporate commercial and estate litigation. She has significant experience in shareholder remedies, property and contract disputes, debt claims, construction, and family matters.
Lauren’s approach is practical and client-centered. She has already earned vast experience in all levels of court in British Columbia, various tribunals, and arbitration. This depth of experience has earned her a reputation with members of the bench and bar as well prepared, organized, and professional. She is an emerging leader within the firm, trusted to assist senior counsel on the most demanding and complicated matters. As a litigator, she is thoughtful and poised, qualities that make her at home negotiating an early resolution in her clients’ favour and adept in court.
Lauren is a graduate of the Peter A. Allard School of Law, where she excelled academically. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science and Education at the University of British Columbia (Okanagan Campus). She also worked internationally as a secondary school teacher. This unique education and global background provide the foundation to Lauren’s ability to advise clients on a wide variety of matters.
